Pinpoint gathered insights to inform case studies on food loss and waste associated with the growing of avocados and citrus fruit in South Africa. This work contributed to a larger project to estimate global farm stage food losses; to analyse the environmental, social and economic impact of associated losses; and to identify food loss drivers and mitigating actions.
