MAPPING FOOD LOSS ALONG WOOLWORTHS’ SPINACH SUPPLY CHAIN

Pinpoint trialed and adapted the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) Food Loss & Waste Protocol on the retailer Woolworths’ spinach supply chain. Outputs included: 1) a food loss and waste mapping methodology suitable for use in South Africa, and 2) an in-depth understanding of where spinach loss and waste occurs along Woolworths’ spinach supply chain.
