MID-TERM REVIEW OF THE SOUTH-WEST INDIAN OCEAN FISHERIES PROGRAMME
Client: WWF-Germany
WWF’s South-West Indian Ocean (SWIO) programme aims to facilitate improvements in fisheries governance and to diversify livelihoods in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Through doing so, the intention is to reduce pressure on fisheries resources and marine ecosystems that small-scale fishers depend on. Pinpoint undertook a mid-term review of the Kogelberg component of the project to assess achievements against the project’s planned outcomes and targets, and to provide recommendations to enhance delivery by project end. OECD DAC criteria were used to assess project achievements.
