SADC RESEARCHERS CHALLENGE: COVID-19 & THE TRANSFORMATION OF VET FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURES
Client: JET Education Services
Funder: UN Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organisation (NESCO)
In partnership with Wits University’s Centre for Researching Education & Labour (REAL), Pinpoint co-led the research challenge. This involved providing methodological and subject-matter guidance to young researchers from six SADC countries. The research documented how skills supported sustainable livelihoods during the initial Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. The research also explored the link between sustainable livelihoods, decent work, skills, knowledge and expertise during a time of major disruption. Access a summary of findings here.
