uTHUKELA MPA PROJECT MID-TERM REVIEW

The mid-term review of the uThukela project, undertaken by Pinpoint and Baobab Connection, assessed progress and achievements against the project’s objectives. Using the OECD evaluation criteria, the review assessed the project’s relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. The findings highlighted progress in enhancing marine and estuarine ecosystem conservation and climate resilience while identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement. Key recommendations aim to refine implementation.
