Pinpoint provided technical expertise to undertake the mapping of losses and waste along Pick n Pay’s whole apple supply chain (from orchard to consumer). The findings provided insights into where and why food loss and waste arises, and presented recommendations for reducing loss and waste in hotspot areas to mitigate impact, and realise opportunities for financial benefit.
